Hyundai has updated its Verna (known as the Accent on the stateside) for its home market. Known as the Hyundai Verna Transform, the new model gets a completely redesigned exterior with minor interior upgrades.

The model is available with a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine, which now provides better fuel-economy. Taking a page from the new Ford Fusion hybrid and the Honda Insight, the Hyundai Verna Transform features an eco lamp on the dashboard that tells you how efficiently you’re driving.

The new 2010 Hyundai Verna will go on sale in Korea starting mid June. It should arrive on the stateside by the end of this year.
