I'm a proud American and support American companies where I can, but I cannot justify spending money on another GM when Toyota and Honda are superior in their products and they outlast GM. I just spend 1600 dollars on parts and labor for my 2005 Chevy Colorado with 54,000 miles on it... yeah, not a typo.. 54 K... I had to replace my cheap plastic exhaust manifold that cracked and leaked air into my cylinders. I also had to replace both front axel seals after they popped and leaked my fluid out. Sure they were 60 dollars in parts, but the 4 hr job cost 450 in labor.. Sure extended warranties are a life saver, but I really expect more out of a car company and its cheap parts at 55 K miles on a vehicle.. GM is a joke!
