totally wrong target if you think the Genesis is better suited to Altima, Accord, Eclipse crowd...what were you thinking?Try forgetting what the badge says and re-write this review. Or better yet, have a look at what the established car mags are saying about the car, seems to me like your review is a little off base.

Is Genesis swaying buyers from 370. G37, 335, RX8? Sure it is, Im one of them.

15 coupes in honolulu still makes it a rare car to see especially here in atlanta where I think (?) people arent as open to hyundai as they are in Hawaii....i know theirs a strong toyota and honda market on the big island (at least when i was living there, kona side)

dont know about the rest of country but here in honolulu hawaii coupe and sedan sales are great! beyond what we expected. initial shipment sold out in less than 2 months. thats 15 cars! just the coupe. sold about 20 sedans since debut. and no problems with any of them

In general, I have to disagree with this one. Also they should have tested a 3.8 track. Comparing Accord, Altima and Eclipse (!!!) to Genesis coupe is utterly embarrassing IMHO. I test drove 370Z, G37 and Genesis 3.8 Track. They are roughly comparable in performance IMO but I liked the solid feel of Genesis along the corners. As a current G35 owner, I am waiting for the delivery of my genesis 3.8 track in interlagos yellow. Of course, 335i is nice but the price difference simply cannot be justified if you look for pure performance rather than the bimmer badge.

Nice review. I'd like to see more from egm!

I def agree that Hyundai should be pitching this as a rival to the accord coupe and altima coupe rather than a g37 or bmw 335i rival.
