By looking at the video it is NOT the fault of the Safety Car, but it was the BMW driver who had violated the yellow Caution sign. Why I say this, is because the drivers have direct telecommunications with their team. The yellow flag has been out right at where the crash occurred. So the driver must have received the warming from his tele and he had enough time to react after the turn to slow down as the Yellow Caution Flag was in direct sight.

It was pretty much BS and trying to put the blame on the safety car's turning left. The point of the safety car is to block and slow down traffic in front of the race leader. If it had been staying on the right hand side, the bimmer could have past easily and gain a huge lead ahead of the car following him who is behind the safety car.

The driver shouldn't have blame anyone but himself.

I most auto races, when the yellow comes out, the cars slow down. They were not slowing down, sure the pace car driver should have stayed to the right a little more, but the race car drivers should have been slowing down for the caution that was already out before the pace car pulled out there.

I think its good that the camaro is popular...the government should take a hint from that fact and learn that the average american doesnt want SMALL AND UBER-FUEL EFFICIENT, but thats another topic...also what does the cruze crash have to do with GM? apparently FIA needs to pick better pace car drivers...
