so where is the news!? the old clk was also based on the old c-class platform.

it is their way of charging more for the car as it is in a class up from the C and put the premium against it.

If they launched a new CLK they would be under more pressure to keep the price aligned with 3-series coupe or Audi A5 or G37. The last CLK was over priced but a huge profit making scenario as I read somewhere it actually costs them less to make a CLK then a C class yet they charge a hefty markup on it
