		<description>Why doesn&#039;t Ford just kill off the Mercury brand. Seems to me they are only cannibalizing their own sales. I&#039;m sure most would agree having Ford as your primary brand and Lincoln as your luxury division would make operations much more streamlined. Same goes for GM, i.e., Chevrolet and Cadillac.</description>
