Porsche considering Panamera cabriolet, will concentrate on V6 and hybrid option first

Porsche’s development chief Wolfgang Durheimer says that the sports car manufacturer sees a lot of potential with the Panamera platform. Already in the works is a convertible version of Porsche’s latest addition.
The Panamera convertible will not only lose its roof, but will also lose two doors. It will come with a fabric canopy roof. Powertrain lineup is expected to be carried over from the four-door Panamera sedan so you can expect a 400-hp Panamera S Cabriolet and a 500-hp Panamera Turbo Cabriolet.
In an interview with auto motor und sport, Durheimer confirmed that Porsche will also offer an option for a 300-hp V6 in the Panamera lineup. He said that before the Panamera Cabriolet hits the roads, Porsche will concentrate on getting the Panamera Hybrid and the V6 Panamera to the market.
