Increasingly Lexus is becoming an also ran in the Sport/Luxury market. This car only reinforces my opinion.

When the LS 460 is the only car that Lexus offers that offers some edge – oh well.

This amuses me to no end. Altho I would do it too, fanboys have been screaming forever that Lexus is Tier 1 & would never dilute their image w/ a 1 Series fighter (nevermind that their big sellers are the ES & RX) ahhh but here we are.

They also like to claim that Toyota is not trying to be #1 in sales … right, they just have a vehicle in every segment for fun (compare their # of vehicles to Honda/Acura).

Anyhow, good for them. In the end, Lexus is still a business & wants a chunk of the Euro pie that Germans have a strangle hold on.
