Seems like dealers will do whatever it takes to move vehicles out of their showrooms. North Texas Chevrolet dealers are inviting Metroplex drivers to drop by a Chevy dealer and test drive the new 2009 Traverse in exchange for a free one-hour massage session at any Massage envy clinic.

“Right now through June 14, when you test drive a beautiful new Chevy Traverse at participating North Texas Chevy Dealers, you receive a certificate for a massage from Massage Envy,” said Lance O’Pry, Dallas/Fort Worth regional developer for Massage Envy clinics. ”Who doesn’t need a moment away from the madness of everyday life -and a Chevy Traverse test drive and a free Massage Envy massage are relaxing breaks in your routine.”

If only we lived out in North Texas. If you don’t want to drive a Traverse, Massage Envy (www.massageenvy.com) offers a one-hour session for $39.

The only way I would test drive a Traverse from Governmental Motors is if the message includes a happy ending.

Any word on the availability of Traverse happy endings?
