Mcchip gives the 2010 VW Golf GTI 252-hp

So you’re pretty excited that the 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI is on its way to the stateside later this summer; however, you’re pretty disappointed that the 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine only makes 206-hp.
Well, while you remain sad and unsatisfied, tuner Mcchip is offering the European market with a performance package that boosts output of the 2010 GTI from 206-hp to a total of 252-hp with a maximum torque of 280 lb-ft. Unveiled at the Tuning World Bodensee, the Mcchip Volkswagen Golf GTI package has been priced at €849 ($1,150 USD)
Other than the performance package, Mcchip is also offering a sports suspension kit, 19-inch alloy wheels and racing strips.
