According to AutoExpress, the new Bugatti Royale is inspired by the 1927 Type 41 Royale and will be more expensive than its coupe sibling. Sources say that the Bugatti Royale will be made in a very limited production run for the company’s loyal customers.

Bugatti will be teaming up with fellow VW Group brand Bentley to develop a new front-engine sedan platform. The Royale will have four-wheel-drive and will carry the 8.0L quad-turbo W16 engine just like the Veyron mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. 0 to 60 mph is expected to come in 3 seconds with a top speed of 250 mph.

Sales of the Bugatti Royale will begin in 3-years.
