Comments on: Honda launches dedicated finance arm for Acura

Answering the phone at Honda Financial Services as “Acura Financial Services” and having the forms and envelopes say “Acura” is a baby step, at best.

If Acura is serious about competing with Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar and Audi they will have to much more than a phone and forms job.

Tier 1 has some customer experience elements to it, but mostly it is about the products. The NSX was a car that indicated that Acura could make it happen, but they have done nothing since then.

yes but @ least they are doing something. v8 & RWD will take a lot more time/money than this … hopefully they are on the way tho.

Can't be tier one without a V8 model with rear wheel drive.

Looks like they are seriously making effort to become tier 1.
