Not many were impressed with Scion’s iQ Concept at the 2009 New York Auto Show. The concept is obviously based on the Toyota iQ with the lime-green body work provided by Five Axis of California. We would have much rather seen a production, normal-looking Scion iQ but we’re guessing Scion was trying to demonstrate its customization capabilities.

We’re not sure when the iQ will be coming to the U.S. (we’re guessing sometime next year) but we do know that it will be sold under the Scion badge.

Refresher: Power comes from a 1.3L 4-cylinder VVT-i making 93-hp with a peak torque of 89 lb-ft.
