Subaru says that the 2010 Subaru Legacy is the “roomiest Legacy sedan ever with new levels of comfort and refinement.” So we decided to test out the space with all five of our eGMCarTech team members covering the 2009 New York Auto Show. After sitting in it for a good 5 minutes and chatting about what we’ve seen at the show so far we have to say that Subaru is right – the Legacy sedan is roomier.

Obviously that’s because it’s 35 mm longer, 90 mm wider and 80 mm higher than the outgoing model.

The 2010 Subaru Legacy will be going on sale later this year with three different available trim-levels. The entry level model is a 170-hp 2.5i while the 2.5 GT gets 265-hp. The range-topping 3.6R is powered by a 3.6L producing 256-hp and a peak torque of 258 lb-ft.
