President Barack Obama had a pretty busy day during his visit to California where he gave a speech at the Southern California Edison Co.’s Electric Vehicle Technical Center. Besides pushing for 1 million plug-in hybrids on the road by 2015 and announcing a $2.4-billion stimulus package for electric-vehicles and hybrids, Obama drove passed a Tesla Motors dealership and wrapped up the day discussing politics, economy and of course the auto industry with car-enthusiast and talk show host Jay Leno.
