Usually, most production cars never end up looking like what they did in their concept form. But when it comes to the Qazana crossover concept seen in Geneva this month, Nissan insider say that people will be ‘shocked’ by how similar the production car will be to the concept.

While it may seem a bit out-there, Nissan Design Europe’s vice president, Alfonso Albaisa, tells CAR Online that the production car will keep many off the Qazana’s cues when it enters production in the summer of 2010.

Albaisa says that people can expect to see those daytime running headlamps that seem to be on the bonnet of the Qazana along with the boomerang rear taillights. Also, the inside of the production model will keep its dashboard architecture seen in the concept.

Nonetheless, the boot hatch and the suicide rear-doors will be replaced with rear-hinged doors.

it looks like something out of the cartoon movie “Cars”. It is definatly a bold design! And it better not come stock with anything but those big wheels because those huge flared out wheel wells would look stupid with a dinky set of steel base model wheels and tires.

yeah im not sure keeping this one looking like the concept is a good idea… different but not at all attractive
