If you were with us earlier this morning than you know that GM is celebrating the launch of the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro today. Ed Peper, GM’s North America Vice President for Chevrolet, just blogged about his excitement for over at GM’s FastLane Blog. Besides flaunting the fuel-economy details that we posted earlier this morning, Peper tells us that over 800,000 people have contacted GM ever since the company announced the car was returning for the 2010 model year.

“14,000 of them have already placed an order to buy one when they arrive at Chevy dealer showrooms next month,” Peper said.

Keep checking in because we have some more details on the 2010 Camaro coming very soon.

wait till you sit in it...just got the chance this weekend at the atlanta international auto show...it looks plain sweet once you get in and it really adds to the retro feel if you've driven a '69 camaro before
