Bugatti working on all-new model for Sept.

We were pretty excited when we heard that Bugatti will unveil a special-edition Veyron with a power increase of 350-hp over the stock 1,001-hp. However, we were then really disappointed when we saw the Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire.

But there is still hope out there. According to CEO Franz-Josef Paefgen, Bugatti is working on an all-new model set to debut in September (we’re guessing at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show).

“We are working several projects,” said Paefgen. “The new Bugatti is certainly not smaller or a less exclusive copy.”

Paefgen said that the new model may enter production in 2011 or 2012. “The new car must fit into the Bugatti history, but also in the Veyrons,” he said.

Any guesses as to what it’ll be?
