When the BMW Concept 5-Series Gran Turismo made its debut, exterior stylist BMW designer Christopher Weil said that below the waistline is what you should expect to see in the next-generation 5-Series sedan. Back then we figured it was only a matter of time before some artist renderings of the 5-Series sedan hit the web.

Well, here is one from Jon Sibal who has brought us many exciting photo renderings over the years.

The 2010 BMW 5-Series is expected to be offered with a choice of a 272-hp naturally aspirated engine and an updated 326-hp 3.0L twin-turbo 6-cylinder in the United States. Europeans will get a choice of a 286-hp twin-turbo 3.0L 6-cylinder common-rail diesel.
