We saw the new Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA Concept at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show last week and now Alfa has dropped a very fun and impressive promotional video of the high-performance hatchback in action.

Power for the MiTo GTA Concept comes from a 1.76 turbocharged 4-cylinder unit making 240-hp. 0 to 60 and top speed details have yet to be announced. What we do know is that even though the production MiTo GTA will be more powerful than its standard sibling, fuel-efficiency and weight-reduction will still be part of the game. Alfa says it MiTo GTA “embraces the principle of ‘downsizing’, guaranteeing reduced emissions and lower operating costs.”

A production version of the Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA is expected to arrive later this year.
