Jay Leno to hold free comedy show for unemployed Detroit workers
Jay Leno will be “stimulating” America in his own way – by making people laugh. Last night during The Tonight Show, Jay Leno announced that he will appear in Detroit on April 7, 2009 for a night of free entertainment with unemployed workers.
The event will be held in Detroit at the Palace of Auburn Hills. NBA’s Detroit Pistons have donated their home court to house the event. Parking and refreshments will be provided for free.
Those interested can pick up tickets at the Palace of Auburn Hills box office beginning 10 a.m. on March 16. To obtain a ticket one must provide a photo ID at the box office. Tickets will be limited to four per person.
