The Ford Fiesta winning the World Car of the Year award would be a great boost of confidence and pride for Ford Motor Co. The award would also help Ford in marketing the little car when it starts going on sale in North America.

Also on a side note, the review of the Fiesta on Top Gear by Jeremy Clarkson alone should be worth an award. Great review.
