After the teasers and the sketches, Alpina has finally released a couple of details and images of the new 2009 BMW Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo that will make its world debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show next week. So far all you 7-Series fan that are disappointed by the lack of an ‘M’ badge on the back of BMW luxury sedan – here’s something to satisfy your needs.

The new 2009 BMW Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo is powered by a 4.4L V8 that pumps out 507-hp with a maximum torque of 516 lb-ft. The high-performance 7-Series can run from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.7 seconds with a top speed that is electronically limited at 173 mph.

    Is new Alpina B7 really has BiTurbo 4.4L engine? On wcf site you can find information that it is supercharged not biTurbo.

    I would love to see this car in the US, but with the state of the economy and the turn away from what is considered to be ostentatious displays of wealth...

    I have always liked what Alpina has done with their cars and this is intriguing.

    I have to get to the Frankfurt auto show so that I can get a better look at this beautiful high speed sedan.

    oh my god....that looks beautiful...i can't wait to see more pictures. although i think 507-hp is a bit conservative....couldn't they do at least 550-hp?
