According to AutoWeek, joining the convertible and estate version of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, will be the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class AMG version. Prototypes for the AMG E-Class have been spotted testing on the streets around the Nurburgring.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG is expected carry the same 6.3L V8 under the hood of the current E 63. Output will be increased from 507-hp to 525-hp .
