Spyker teases production C8 Aileron

Spyker has just released a teaser of the production Spyker C8 Aileron that will make its debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show next week.

We expect the C-line sports car to stay true to the concept version unveiled at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. Power comes from an Audi 4.2L V8 making a total of 400-hp. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed Getrag manual or a 6 speed automatic ZF gearbox. 0 to 60 mph should come in at 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 187 mph.

Production will take place later this year with sales to kick off early summer. A convertible version of the car is expected to debut in 2010.

    This is some great stuff for sure. Look at the speed and the snapshots. It looks amazing to say the least. I am a cat fanatic and I cant wait for this to come out of the factory.     There are many cars companies today which are doing some great and competitive stuff. What people are looking for is something which gives them high speed and Spyker is one among them. I really like the models and the pics featured. I am just wondering how long will it take them to make an assembly of these cars and make it available for purchase? I think I might buy it.
