Ivan, the traditional term “volante” adopted by Aston Martin is an Italian word that means “flying”, as in “air born”. It happens to also indicates the steering wheel in both languages (Spanish & Italian).

I'm not really one for convertibles but, this car is begging me to reconsider. I had heard they weren't going to call it “Volante” but whatever, I think it sounds cool. I know it means “steering wheel” in spanish but I don't know if that's what their going for. I'll take it in Onyx Black.
