Since most of the equipment and powertrain package on the new 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe is shared with the 2010 E-Class Sedan, Daimler has decided to keep pricing on the two models the same, reports Automotive News Europe.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe will make its world debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, with sales to begin alongside the sedan later this month in Europe. U.S. sales will start later this summer.

In 2010, Mercedes-Benz will offer an extended wheelbase E-Class in China which will also be built there. The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet (convertible) and Estate (station wagon) will be unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Sales for those two models will begin in November in Europe. U.S. sales will follow early 2010.
