But if they do file chapter 11 then it will open up a good amount of the market share for other companies like Ford, Honda, and GM etc.(if their still around) which will allow them to keep plants open that they might have had to be shut down = saving jobs for Ford etc. rather than for Chrysler. People need to understand that jobs need to be cut, but they also need to understand that if the government gets involved and starts picking who can and can't servive (with bailouts for GM and Chrysler) then it is going to punish innocent companies like Ford who have been making better decisions but now will be facing harder times because companies like GM/Chrysler that should have naturally been put out of business are now being artificially proped up/kept alive by the multiple government bailouts. “It'll suck not because I like Chrysler but because a lot of people will lose their job”

Honestly, I could care less about Chrysler but if that means I get to see Fiats and Alfa Romeos on U.S. highways....
