In an effort to boost sales and avoid leasing programs, BMW of North America is offering a new incentive program where BMW will make the first two payments on your brand new car – we’re not kidding. BMW announced today that it will make the first two payments on new cars that are financed including the new BMW 1-Series, 3-Series, 5-Series, 6-Series and X5.

BMW hopes that two free payments of as much as $750 ($1,500 max) will encourage new buyers to finance a BMW. Buyers can also combine the two free payments with APR financing ranging from 0.9 to 3.9 percent a month. The 328i and the 528i are being offered with finance rates of 0.9 percent for up to 60 months.

The new offer will start on February 4th and will end on March 2nd for 2008 models. For 2009 models, the program ends on March 3st. The new 2009 BMW 7-Series, X6 and the new 2010 BMW Z4 are not eligible for the new program.

Something tells me that all luxury brands will be offering special deals in the weeks to come.

    Great opportunities to buy.

You don't have to buy what you don't like…
