Prior to its March 26th debut, Tesla has dropped a teaser image of the upcoming Model S Sedan. We’re guessing designer Franz von Holzhausen, former Mazda design head, didn’t want us seeing too much of his work before the launch date.

So far we know that the Tesla Model S Sedan will be powered by a lithium-ion battery pack that will give it a range of 240 miles and a 0 to 60 mph time of less than 6 seconds. Pricing is expected to come in at $60,000.

Want one? Well cross your fingers for the DOE to approve Tesla Motors $350 million application to build the Model S Sedan.

60K wow, it looks much better than the Roadster, although its too early to tell, and it costs half as much. I'm still not convinced that battery powered cars are really the way of the future.
