Procter and Gamble makes everything from diapers, toothpaste, razors and even staples; however, the company is now looking to diversify its offering buy venturing into a new business model (or service if you will) - car washing.

That’s right, P&G is getting into car-washing and to jump-start its new business the company will brand its franchises with the shiny bald guy in a white t-shirt – Mr. Clean. P&G has already acquired Atlanta-based Carnett’s Car Wash, which has 14 locations, to kick off its Mr. Clean Car Wash franchises.

With auto sales down and people saving as much as money as possible, a Mr. Clean Car Wash franchise may seem like an odd choice, but Bruce Brown, P&G’s chief technology officer, says that P&G wants to “blow this out to a national network of car washes.”

The company already has two Mr. Clean Car Washes near its Cincinnati headquarters. You can check out the web site here.

I would def go to a Mr.Clean car wash than some regular car wash… that logo just makes you feel so squeaky clean.
