One of the few luxury automakers to report record sales in 2008, Maserati plans on stay pretty busy for 2009. Following the launch of the new 2009 Maserati Quattroporte GTS, unveiled at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show, Maserati will be adding a GranTurismo GTS later this year.
The Maserati GranTurismo S currently produces 440-hp from a 4.7L V8. The GranTurismo GTS is expected to have more power mated to a fully automatic unit.
Joining the GranTurismo GTS will be a new convertible, or GranTurismo Spyder, in early 2010. Maserati says that the GranTurismo Spyder will easily accommodate four passengers. It is expected to make its auto show debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
