ASMA Design has done what McLaren could not do. The tuning firm today unveiled its new ASMA Design Perfectus SLR based on the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR 722. Besides throwing on an aggressive custom carbon fiber bodywork ASMA threw on 20-inch wheels.

So what did we mean when we said that they have done what McLaren could not do? Extract more horsepower. The original SLR 722 makes a total of 650-hp from its 5.4 supercharged V8. ASMA Design engineers upped output to a whopping 750-hp allowing for a blistering 0 to 62 mph time of just 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 216 mph.
