More than 650,000 people visited the 2009 Detroit Auto Show
The curtains closed on the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit this past weekend (Jan. 25 to be exact). More than 650,000 people and 5,500 journalists attended the show. The closing day alone hosted the largest attendance with more than 92,000 people coming through.
A total of 53 vehicles were unveiled at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show including 34 worldwide debuts and 19 North American debuts. The show also raised more than $2.6 million for children’s charities at the annual black-tie Charity Preview gala.
