Seems like the new Fiat deal has given Chrysler LLC some encouragement. The automaker has announced that it will sponsor the fourth installment of the “Terminator” movie series in Terminator Salvation. The struggling U.S. automaker, which has received $4 billion in emergency loans, has a deal to place its vehicles in Terminator Salvation which stars Christian Bale.

Financial details of the sponsorship have not been revealed.

“This spring, Terminator 4 comes out and we will be one of the sponsors,” Susan Thomson, Chrysler director of media, said at the Automotive News World Congress. “We have a following with the Terminator movies and we are going to continue with that.”

Damn, I really wanted to see this movie, but not anymore.

Did GM sales go up after the release of Transformers? Chrysler shouldn't be spending the little money they have on movie ads. Nobody will want to buy a chrysler after they watch this movie.
