Steve Saleen unveils SMS 570 Challenger with up to 700-hp

Steve Saleen and his new company, SMS Limited, have unveiled their first vehicle on its way to production – the SMS 570 Challenger. The SMS 570 Challenger will be the first of a line of high-performance muscle cars to come from SMS. The modified 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T features the patented SMS Red Butterfly Induction hood and other SMS ultra-high performance elements like an upgraded drivetrain, suspension, aerodynamics, tires, wheels and interior.

Available in two variants, the street-legal SMS 570 Challenger and SMS 570X Challenger will features an SMS engineered SMS 296 Supercharger mated to the 5.7L HEMI. Power outputs come in at 500-hp for the SMS 570 Challenger and 700-hp for the SMS 570X Challenger.

Pricing for the 2009 SMS 570 Challenger and SMS 570X Challenger start at $60,000 to $70,000 respectively. Both cars feature a bumper-to-bumper factory warranty. Each model will be personally signed by Steve Saleen. For more info on sales call (714) 400-2121 x:216.
