The first unit of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, a Camaro SS, was auctioned off for $350,000 at the 2009 Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale. That’s a lot less than the $1 million the first unit of the Corvette ZR1 brought in last year.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit the American Heart Association just like the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.

You can pick up your own 422-hp Chevrolet Camaro SS for a lot cheaper at $30,995. Nonetheless, you won’t get the bragging rights for owning unit no. 1 of the 2010 Camaro.

Not bad for a car without an interior.

Overall, much more than I would have expected.
