2010 Buick LaCrosse Unveiled

GM has released the details and images of the 2010 Buick LaCrosse prior to its world debut at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show. As you can see from the pictures the car stays true to the Buick Invicta concept car introduced at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show.
Besides the new exterior that defines Buick’s new modern global design, the 2010 LaCrosse features a luxurious two-tone interior that is crafted from premium materials and highlighted with a cool blue ambient lighting. Buick’s signature QuietTuning reduces interior noise providing a comfortable and quiet interior for the passegners while they enjoy a variety of personal technologies. The technologies include a in-dash navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, AUX audio input and a USB port. Rear-seat passengers can get a DVD entertainments system with 2-display screens integrated into the seatbacks. Other technologies include a head-up display, Side Blind Zone alert and a rear-view camera.

2010 Buick LaCrosse:
The 2010 Buick LaCrosse will be available in three different trim-levels including CX, CXL and CXS:
CX ““ equipped with a new 3.0L direct injection V6, premium cloth seats and 17-inch wheels. The 3.0L engine generates an estimated 255 horsepower and 211 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
CXL ““ also equipped with the new 3.0L direct injection V6, adds leather-appointed heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, fog lamps, outside rearview mirror with LED turn indicators and puddle lamps, and 18-inch wheels. Intelligent AWD is available.
CXS ““ equipped with a 3.6L direct injection V-6; real-time active-dampening suspension; perforated, leather-appointed, heated and cooled seats, and chrome-plated 18-inch wheels (19-inch optional). The 3.6L engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, generates an estimated 280 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque.
Buick estimates fuel-economy on the 255-hp 3.0L V6 at 18/27 mph (city/highway). The 3.6L V6 returns an estimated 17/26 mpg.
Production of the 2010 Buick LaCrosse will launch this summer with sales to start later in 2009.
