This is the stupidest thing they could have done...

if they don't think Hnda and Acura need a V8 they are retarded!! Everyother company has one... The Ridgeline and the Pilot will die in the next three years without a v8.. the RL and TL should have the v8 to keep competitive with every other luxury auto maker in the world....

I have bought three acura products in my life... with the future looking like this, Honda is turning into the Kia of the past... I will not be duped into buying another acura car ever...

Thanks Acura/Honda you just lost another customer to the Germans...

What a piece of crap company, making SOOOOOO many promises and now going back on EVERYONE......

Pathetic company still retaining customers based on their previous accomplishments.. the first production car to get 100hp per liter (s2000, how many years ago?)

Honda you just buried yourself RIP.....

They will develop tubo V6's before they go to V8's. V8's are overkill for any of their current models

Acura gets a lot of flack for all of the sharing that they do w/ Honda but @ times like this, these cost cutting measures are really going to help them survive.

A v8 & RWD for Acura would be nice … especially if they want to move upmarket. However, they are far from over as their sales are still decent compared to the competition … except for the poor RL.

I don't think they need a V8, unless they are planning to add even bigger models to their lineup. But RWD would be a good thing for Acura imho. And the S2000 is important to their lineup since its their only dedicated sports car.

If Honda/Acura doesn't wake up and smell the cappuchino, we might as well kiss Acura goodbye! If their short or long range plans don't include a dedicated rear wheel drive platform and a V-8, it's over for them!!!!
