GM said today that it has already received 10,000 advance orders for the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, reports Automotive News. It did not say how many of the advance orders were for the 300-hp V6 model or how many were for the 422-hp Camaro SS.

As reported yesterday, GM in the process of suing Cadence Innovation, a bankrupt parts supplier that is liquidating, to get parts that it needs for the production of the 2010 Camaro. In a standard industry practice, GM handed over the parts and machines to Cadence to produce parts for the Camaro. GM said that if it doesn’t get the production equipment back by Jan. 12, the production of the Camaro will have to be delayed.

Pricing for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro starts at $22,995 for the V6 model and $30,995 for the V8 Camaro SS.

While there are 10,000 orders the customers will need to supply their own interiors…

Wow the SS Camaro comes with a “V10″ I see…

  • Screwed American

Didn't realize there were that many people left who actually gave a dam about this car anymore. All the hype left the building when the retro theme went the way of Grunge Metal.

Maybe Mullets are making a comeback and Poison will go on to be the #1 band this year too.
