Hyundai has announced the pricing on the 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring. The 5-door compact starts at $18,495 for the well-equipped entry-level model and $19,995 for the model featuring a Premium-Sport Package.

Power for the 2009 Elantra come from a 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder engine making a total of 141-hp with a peak torque of 137 lb-ft. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. EPA rates the 2009 Elantra Touring at 23/30 mpg (city/highway).
