Anyone buying a new car shouldn’t worry about the first 3yrs/36k of maintenance cost which is going to be less than 1k, especially if its a Volvo witch will cost you upward of $30-40k. I've owned BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Volvo. The Audi free program of the early 90s was the best covering brake pads, wiper blades, air filters and even headlights.<br><br>The BMW program was good as it was wiper blades but did not include brakes. Now, the Volvo is basically free oil changes, "check," and resetting the maintenance interval lights.
