According to What Car, the European Parliament has agreed to allow Britain continue using the mile rather than forcing a switch to the kilometer. The decision will continue to allow traders to display imperial and metric measurements.

Most important of all, it allows drivers to keep road signs that display speed limits in miles rather than relying on kilometers.

So don’t just cancel your trip to London just because you can’t tell how much 100 km/h is.
