Fuji Heavy Industries, the producer of Subaru cars, revealed some sad news yesterday telling rally fans that it will no longer be competing in the World Rally Championship. Well for road-going Subaru fans, FHI has some good news for you this morning.

At the 2009 Detroit Auto Show, FHI will hold the world premiere of the Legacy Concept that will showcase the vehicle’s future design direction.

Subaru released one image showing the front face and flared wheel arches. It says that power will come from a 3.6L Horizontally-Opposed engine mated to Subaru’s popular all-wheel-drive system.
