Video: R8 held captive in new Audi commercial

After an outstanding consumer and critical reaction to the “Godfather” inspired commercial in Super Bowl XLII, Audi announced today that it has purchased a 60-second slot to advertise in the first quarter of Super Bowl XLIII.

What Audi will pull out of their bag this time is a secret but we’d like to see something funny along the lines of the new “Hostage” Audi R8 commercial. If you were robbing someone, would you hold a pretty girl hostage as your get-away ticket or an Audi R8? That’s the premise of the new R8 commercial which you can check out after the jump. For us it would depnd on whether the R8 carries a V8 or a V10.
