2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class leaked prior to Detroit debut

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been leaked prior to its official debut at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show next month. The front-end of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be heavily influenced by the FASCINATION Concept seen at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.

For the next-generation E-Class, Mercedes-Benz will kill the CLK badging and offer a true E-Class Coupe that will debut two months after the sedan is revealed next month. The new E-Class Convertible will arrive later in September 2009.

Engine details will be revealed next month but you can expect a range of gasoline and diesel units with 6 to 8-cylinders. We’ll also see a BlueEFFICIENCY model of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class later next year.
