Video: Jon Stewart gives the heated Detroit bailout subject some humor

If you’ve been watching C-SPAN this morning you’ve probably been pretty ‘bummed out’ by Congress’s attitude towards Wagoner, Nardelli and Mulally (those of you that don’t support the bailout probably had a good time watching it but as reporters of the auto industry, we were a bit shocked).
Well, Jon Stewart of The Daily Show decided to lighten things up and tell Congress a thing or two about where they are putting the hard-working taxpayer’s money.
Our favorite line: “Fine Detroit’s business model is bad – we know they lose $2,000 for every car they sell. Wall Street lost $7 trillion without selling ANYTHING! At least when Detroit loses money, we get cars, so give them the money!”
