Instead of flying the company corporate jet to Washington D.C., GM CEO will head to the congressional hearings in a company car – the Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid. Rick Wagoner will drive the 520-mile trip in a company-owned Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid sedan – whether Wagoner will be driving himself or have a chauffer drive him is unconfirmed but we’re guessing it’s the latter. For those of you wondering why Wagoner didn’t take the Volt, we’re guessing it was because the 520-mile trip for a long man like Wagoner would’ve been pretty uncomfortable in a Volt.

As we heard earlier this morning, FoMoCo CEO will be driving a Ford Escape Hybrid to D.C. That leaves none other than Chrysler’s CEO Robert Nardelli. A spokesman says that Nardelli will not be traveling by corporate jet and that his travel plans will remain secret due to security reasons.

Any guesses as to what Nardelli will be driving? Drop your thoughts in the comments section below – but with Chrysler producing only two hybrid vehicles including the Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen Hybrid – Nardelli doesn’t have that many options. What about the Dodge EV?

They should have thought of this themselves instead of being embarrassed into it. I hope they don't give any money to these reactionary “leaders”. Let em die. Feel the pain. Shut down. Retool.

Let Nardelli, drive to washington in a base caliber, so he can see first hand the kind of vehicles Chrysler is selling. This is getting ridiculous, Greyhound is also always available.

I am with you all with regard to letting the economics play out the way they should and feeling the pain
BUT I live in the midwest and work in the metal forming industry, so my job is basically based on what these 3 stooges do.
and i don't really want to be out of work for 3 years while they fix the problem
