We’re not sure why Mazda didn’t show the new 2010 Mazda3 5-door at the 2008 LA Auto Show along side the new Mazda3 sedan but it announced today that it will showcase the world premiere of the car at the Bologna Motor Show on Dec. 3rd.

Like the 2010 Mazda3 4-door, the 5-door hatchback will be available with Bluetooth hands-free technology, adaptive front-lighting system and Bi-Xenon headlights with auto leveling, advanced keyless entry and push-button start.
