FoMoCo has announced that it is also planning on selling its fleet of five corporate jets, a move similar to the one being made by GM after being criticized by members of Congress this week for the company’s travel expenses.

“Ford’s top priority is to continue making progress on our transformation plan, and we do not want anything to distract us,” spokesman Mark Truby said. “We are exploring all cost-effective solutions for our air travel.”

As reported earlier today, GM will sell altogether four out of seven jets from its corporate fleet.
